Build your capacity

to measure your impact

and use data to

tell your story.

Now more than ever, we know the importance of having good, solid data to drive programmatic and policy-level decision-making. Nonprofit and community leaders seek effective and efficient ways to assess program impact and communicate their success and lessons learned.

At Highland Nonprofit Consulting, we know that nonprofits are passionate about strengthening communities and providing effective programs and services that address unmet needs and make long-lasting impact. We help you effectively measure and communicate your program’s success and utilize evaluation findings to improve upon program implementation and outcomes. Our work is mission-driven and designed to strengthen your capacity to provide effective programs that have a measurable impact and to effectively gather and use data to tell your story.

Highland Nonprofit Consulting offers evaluation consulting services including nonprofit program evaluation, evaluation capacity building, evaluation training and coaching and data visualization, all customized to meet your needs and available resources.

MISSION

Highland Nonprofit Consulting is dedicated to partnering with nonprofits and Foundations to build capacity to provide and invest in effective strategies that have a measurable impact.

Work with Highland Nonprofit Consulting to build your capacity to gather and transform data into meaningful stories that demonstrate your impact.

Build a Culture of Learning

It’s challenging to help staff, Board members and key partners understand the value in collecting and using data to inform programs and services. Through evaluation training and coaching, I can help every member of your team embrace the fact that data are needed for continuous program improvement and accountability to stakeholders and more importantly, to want to learn, share and grow.

Measure your Impact

Understanding how best to measure your impact is difficult. Working with you and your key stakeholders, I will help you determine specific, measurable and achievable goals and develop a practical and easily applied plan for gathering information to assess progress towards achieving those goals. I will work with you to collect and analyze data, visualize and make sense of the findings and translate key learnings into actionable recommendations and strategies.

Tell Your Story

At Highland Nonprofit Consulting, we understand the importance of communicating your program’s successes. Using the latest data visualization techniques, we will work with you to develop engaging and informative communications materials designed to showcase your program’s achievements. We will train your staff on how to appropriately and effectively incorporate program evaluation findings into communication materials to help you tell your story in an engaging and meaningful way.

How I’ve helped others measure their impact and tell their story.

"Working with Jenn made what was an overwhelming task a seamless and enjoyable process.  Jenn’s patience and attention to detail allowed us to work through numerous options, until we were all in agreement with the final product. Jenn helped us create an organization dashboard to visually display the evaluation results, trained our team on how to summarize the data moving forward and provided resources and support to make the evaluative process sustainable.  Our work with Jenn has made a lasting impact!"

"I want to both thank and acknowledge Jenn for her work with CaringWorks over the last several years. We have benefited so much from the knowledge and experience that she has brought to our evaluation process. From examining outcomes for a specific grant to broadening our capacity to evaluate agency processes, she has been a valuable source of objectivity and professionalism. We look forward to our continued work in evaluating whether our permanent supportive housing practices could emerge as a best practice."
